{Trash the Dress} Gina

Good Morning Everyone!


So, this post is VERY overdue. Gina is my husband's cousin and is one of the most fun, outgoing, and laid back people I know. She is so fun to be around and just knows how to have a good time. When she won the trash the dress shoot, I was super excited because I knew she would be an awesome model. Gina is gorgeous! Thanks Gina! <3

{Props} Thank you Banner

HI Everyone!

I know it's been a hot minute since I have posted on this blog. I am super duper behind on the blog but October is an INSANE month for me. On top of that, December I will be out of town almost the entire month! So... here is to hoping for a catch up period in November! :)

I was looking up different ideas to use for props at a wedding. Props can be a great tool to give your client different takes on things. I love the idea of the THANK YOU picture. You put it in your thank you cards to guest who attended your wedding. I saw them on Etsy.com and decided I wanted to take the time to try and make my own. Well... guess what it was a SUCCESS! (And it only took me 45 min!)

Materials-
Pre-cut card stock (Shapes don't matter as long as one fits in the other)
Ribbon
4 inch or 5 inch letter stickers
Glue
Lighter
Scissors or hole puncher


1. You glue your first piece of card stock and your smaller piece of card stock together. The smaller on top of the bigger.

2. You take your first sticker letter and place it centered on the smaller piece.

3. Repeat until you have finished writing out all your letters.

4. Cut a tiny slit at the top of each card. Make sure that the cut is centered well.

5. One by one place the cards on the ribbon fastening them with knots to keep their places.

6. Once cards are fastened... Product is COMPLETE! ;)

{Thoughts} Renewing your Wedding Vows

I WANT EVERYONE'S OPINION!

So I want to renew my wedding vows with my Husband at our 5 year mark. Is that to early to renew your vows?!?!? Have you thought about renewing yours?


Just curious if this is a common thing... not to mention who doesn't want to relive the fairy tale again with their prince charming!!!!

{Ideas} Etsy.com

So, I hate to admit it but I JUST recently found the amazingness that is Etsy.com. And if you haven't yet... GO CHECK IT OUT! Here's why I think it's pretty great...

Detail shoots can really make a wedding. I realized that when my photographers for my wedding gave me my photo's. Stickers on the bottom of shoes... LOOK SO COOL! Knick Knacks that represent your personality are really cool too! Few things I found on Etsy.com I wanted to share!

So I decided to make a full functioning blog with many different features. Example one- A new Wedding blog! This is a great place to come check on Wedding's I have been a photographer at, and to get ideas for your own wedding!
